The Arts4peace Festival is a celebration of Cambodia’s arts and culture, the value this brings to the country, and above all the people behind the last four decades of artistic and cultural regeneration: In the 40th year since the fall of the Khmer Rouge, and in CLA’s 20th anniversary year, the Arts4peace Festival recognizes the incredible efforts by three generations of artists and cultural workers in Cambodia to revive, transmit and develop the arts.

The Festival Team:

Festival Ambassadors:

Romdoul Lich Tek

“As an ambassador for Arts4peace Festival, I am so happy that I could promote Cambodian arts and culture. The festival will be the biggest opportunity that the artists of generations, masters, and the public be together. Every program during the festival will highlight the value of arts in peace building. It is just along with my passion in arts and culture of our country.”

CHAMROEUN Sopheak

“I used to learn arts and be a traditional artist at Cambodian Living Arts (CLA). I am so glad to be one of the ambassadors for Arts4peace Festival. I believe that it will be a time we will never forget for the reunion of 3 generations of artists and the audience. The festival will highlight the roles of arts in healing and peace building. I expect that the audience will understand more about arts and give their strong support to Cambodian arts.”

SEANG SokCheng

“Science touches the brain; art touches the heart. And for a person to choose the right path, both their heart and brain must want the same thing! Therefore, I am very glad to see initiatives like Arts4peace happening in Cambodia, bringing together established and emerging artists from all walks of life as well as the public of different age groups to celebrate, to heal, and to show their hopes and plans for the future!”

RITHY Lomorpich

“I am proud to echo Arts4peace, where we come together again and enjoy the peaceful moments after a decade-lasting war; and to see more and more youth become aware that supporting Cambodian arts and culture is their role!”

KIM Socheat

“Arts4peace Festival will bring a lot of knowledge regarding Cambodian culture along with special programs including gathering artists, team work spirit, and reaction.”
